patoralists are composed mainly of african ranching communities. some estimates I have seen are 350k peoples with 500k livestock. the extreme droughts over the last several decades have led to a major loss of grazing land for their livestock(their way of life for many generations). this is causing them to relocate to fertile land or their livestock will die.

so patoralists major problems are:

drought which leads to loss of livestock, which leads to a loss of heritage based lands and the loss of food, which leads to conflict from migrating and also the threat of famine.
