The USGS lists 9,728 Alaskan Rivers a few of which include:

  1. Draining into the Arctic Ocean with a length of over 100 miles are the Firth. Longakut, Canning, Sagavanirktok, Kuparuk, Colville, Ikpikpuk, Topagoruk, Meade, Utukok, Kololik and Kukpowruk.
  2. Draining into the Bering Strait and over 100 miles long are the Noatak, Kobuk, Selawik and Koyuk.
  3. Draining into the Yukon River Basin and over 100 miles long are the Yukon, Melozitna, Nowitna, Tanana, Chandalar, Christian, Porcupine and White.
  4. Draining into the Bering Sea and over 100 miles long are the Kashunuk, Kuskokwim and Nushagak.
  5. Draining into the Gulf of Alaska and over 100 miles long are the Sustina, Little Sustina and Copper.
  6. The Alaska Panhandle has at over 100 miles in length the Alsek and the Sitkine.
