Impossible to answer without hands on examination.
Check the markings on the slide, frame and grips.
Need to know caliber and a detailed description of all markings on frame, slide and barrel.
On the 2 P-35s I have they have an eagle over the number 140. These are the most common. You will also see the eagle over swastika on both the slide and the frame. Also the eagle over 140 will be just under the barrel on the muzzle of the slide.
SLIDE THE SLIDE BACK TILL THE SLIDE RELEASE IS IN THE NOTCH IN THE SIDE PUSH RELEASE THROUGH THE FRAME AND SLIDE THE SLIDE FORWARD OFF THE FRAME THEN TURN THE BARREL NUT AND REMOVE THE RECOIL SPRING AND GUIDE THEN THE BARREL WILL SLIDE OUT OF THE SLIDE
The thing that keeps the slide on a j22 frame that won't stay on is the slide catch. It is designed so that the slide mechanism can be locked in place without risk of it moving.
Sony, Viewsonic, and Audiovox make a digital frame with a bulit-in slide show feature.
Remove the magazine and clear the chamber. Make sure the gun is NOT loaded. Set the safety in the up "fire" position. Pull the slide back just enough so the slide catch notch in the bottom left side of the slide is even with the front of the slide catch. If you pull the slide back far enough to engage the slide catch you have gone too far. When the notch in the slide is over the pin of the slide catch push on the pin from the right side of the frame. The button like end of the pin is just above the trigger on the right side of the frame. Push in this "button" you may need something like a pen if you cant push it with you finger. Fully remove the pin from the frame. Pull the slide forward out of the frame. Carefully remove the recoil spring and guide. Rotate the barrel bushing to the left and remove from the slide. Pull the barrel up and out of the slide. This is the standard field strip for this gun. Refer to a gun smith for further disassembling.
From under the frame rails.
Need more info. 1911A1's started being made in the 1920's, and are still in production today. What's the serial number? What are the markings on the frame and slide? Is it blue, chrome, parkerized, etc.
First make sure the gun is unloaded. 2. Release the magazine.Place the top of the grip in the web of your hand, thumb up over the slide.Push the slide rearward until the slide stop gap in the receiver is over the front pin of the slide stop lever.Wrap you four fingers over the slide and towards your thumb and maintain pressure on the slide, holding it in that position.Using a plastic punch or heel of a magazine push the pin located on the right side of the frame which will push the slide stop lever away from the frame on the left side of the frame.Grasp the slide stop lever and pull it out and away from the frame,You may have to wiggle it free.Slowly release the grip with your grip hand and the slide will move forward.Grasp the top of the slide and it will slide forward off the frame of the pistol.
Not necessarily. I have one which is plastic.
you have to grind the welds that hold the frame rail to the rest of the frame and slide the ends out . replace the frame rails and weld it back.
