A complete list of mathematical puzzles and games would be impossible to produce. There are simply too many and many were never written down.

"On Numbers and Games" by John Conway was published in 1976. The book explores mathematical concepts related to games and is known for its introduction of surreal numbers, a new number system that extends the real numbers. It reflects Conway's interest in combinatorial game theory and the mathematical foundations of games.

There are many different types of cool math games that exist for kids and young children. There are games that are just solving math problems and there are games that incorporate mathematical concepts.
Yes. Sudoku is a mathematical game. Actually, I would not consider Sudoku a "mathematical" game ... it does however use some of the same logical problem-solving strategies that are applied in finding solutions to many mathematical problems. I teach middle school math and have found that some of my students who would rather skip the dreaded math class, are able to complete (and even enjoy!!!) Sudoku puzzles. :o)

Games that qualify as puzzle make use to one's inductive reasoning and may involve recognizing patterns. Puzzles have evolved from the standard piece puzzle to mathematical or logical games like chess.
Henry Dudeney has invented two things. Henry Dudeney invented logic puzzles and mathematical games.

Simple arithmetic in adding or subtracting card values, and at a mathematical level, mainly permutations and combinations.
There is honest mathematical way. Dishonest ways or number games may enable it.
Mathematical sciences are a wide array of sciences that are based on mathematical principles.
