Amos as the remainder of the minor prophets are about prophecies of end time more than miracles. One that comes to mind is Amos 8 where those who take advantage of others for profit and control are very clearly mentioned.

- Amos 8

4 Hear this, O ye that swallow up the needy, even to make the poor of the land to fail.......5 Saying, When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell corn? and the sabbath, that we may set forth wheat, making the ephah small, and the shekel great, and falsifying the balances by deceit?.......6 That we may buy the poor for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes; yea, and sell the refuse of the wheat?

7 The Lord hath sworn by the excellency of Jacob, Surely I will never forget any of their works.

Perhaps the most famous prophecy of Amos is 8:11 which coincides with the signs of Jesus Christ given in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21.

Amos 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord:

Amos was a simple man who raised sheep, and 'nipped figs' for a living (Amos 7:14), when God made him a prophet in the 9th century BCE, to warn the nations that were acting wickedly, to stop their bad ways or be destroyed. Amos bravely prophesied to the idolatrous 10-tribe kingdom of Israel in the north which was condemned for turning to false gods, building their "houses of ivory" while cheating the poor(Amos 3:15; 5:11, 12; 6:4-7) . He was sent to Judah for 'rejecting the law of God' (Amos 2:4), and to enemy nations Philistia, Tyre , Edom, Ammon, Moab, to warn them that they would be destroyed for their wicked acts.

God also had Amos prophesy that those who DID turn away from such things and repent, would be shown mercy.(Amos 5:4,6,14)

Amos was a prophet during the rule of Uzziah, king of Judah, during the rule of Jeroboam II, son of Joash, king of Israel and during the 'Great Earthquake', which was SO big that it was still spoken about 300 years later (Zechariah 14:5). When Amos finished his important assignment prophesying to the nations that had turned away from God, he came home to Judah and wrote the prophecies down in his Bible book of "Amos".

The prophet Amos did not do any miracles, he only proclaimed the message of God to the nations of Judah and Israel and some of the other nation around them.
