This full answer to this question is completely subjective and based on personal opinions as this is a very broad topic. Speaking historically the oldest known pair of shoes to my knowledge would be those found on the body of Otzi the Ice man who has been traced back to 3300bc. As for famous shoes in fashion, or as I should say Imfamous shoes, I would say the 6 inch tall fetish inspired Vivienne Westwood shoes worn by Naomi Campbell as she fell on the Cat walk. Of course there would be many people that would disagree with this answer and would argue anything from Nancy Sinatra's famous boots made by Beth Levine to any pair of Manolo's worn by Carrie Bradshaw.
