During World War II, approximately 120,000 Japanese Americans were forcibly relocated to internment camps in the United States, with around 30,000 of those individuals being children. These camps were established following the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941, driven by wartime hysteria and racial prejudice. The internment lasted until 1945, with significant long-term impacts on the Japanese American community.

In the USA Americans who had Asian children call their children Amerasian. There are probably other terms when whites from other countries have Asian children. (what?) If a person is half Japanese and half white they are Eurasian or Japanese-American or American-Japanese. Eurasian is European Asian and Japanese-American is how you would call them if they were white American. You can always make up your own like A half white person and half Chinese person I refer to as with my friends, which I don't recommend using on a daily basis is, Chonky, white on rice, yed necks. Japite or Whitap can be a half Japanese half white person.
