World of Warcraft is not nerdy at all actually. It is just generally considered nerdy like all other popular games. World of Warcraft is the most known nerdy one because it is the most popular MMORPG in the world and has more than 11.5 million players and has 62% of all MMORPG players playing World of Warcraft.
Currently, all that is known about Rick Riordan and his involvement in World of Warcraft is that he plays the game. He has not released the names of any of his characters or even what realm that he plays on.
RuneScape, World of Warcraft, and BattleOn games are all good MMORPG's.
There are World of Warcraft, Runescape, EVE Online, Adventurequest, Ultima Online, Guild Wars, City of Heroes, Dragonfable, Freelancer, and Everquest and all of its iterations. ______________________

There are currently three continents in World of Warcraft. Kalimdor, Eastern Kingdoms, Northrend. Note: this does not include all of the smaller islands that can be seen on the world map, and does not include Outlands, which is a separate map.
I Think there are 3 exists preceding games in the Warcraft series. The initial video game in the series was known as Warcraft: Orcs and Humans that's such a success it produced a sequel. All of the Warcraft games happen within the fantasy realm of Azeroth. /
They are not different games, they are just addons that add more features and content to the game to continue the end game adventure. They are all World of Warcraft.
World of Warcraft usernames are the email addresses that you used when you signed up. WoW accounts no longer use just single user names as all WoW accounts must be battlenet accounts.
All headsets are compatible with World of Warcraft.
Normally you don't need to buy any games to play it's sequal.
Yes, it is an expansion game for World of Warcraft. This means that you must have World of Warcraft installed on your computer to install World of Warcraft the Burning Crusade(http://wow.igxe.com/). All of them need the original game in order for them to be played, though I do not know if the original games come bundled with the newest expansion packs or not, but I think that anything's possible.
