A simple drum kit is composed of several basic elements. The drums include the Snare drum (The one with the wires under it), the toms (The drums with out the wires but are hit with a stick, including the mounted ones and the ones that are on the floor, which are floor toms), and the bass drum(s).
1. Snare Drum
2. Bass Drum
3. Hi-Tom
4. Low-Tom
5. Floor-Tom
The most common are: Hi-hat, snare drum, bass/kick drum, tom-tom drum, floor tom, ride cymbal, crash cymbal, splash cymbal, china cymbal.
He started playing drums when he was only 2. At first, Justin's mom didn't have enough money to buy him a set of drums, so he was beating on a chair and his mom thaught he had really good rhythm. When Justin was 3, his mom bought him a set of drums
Well if you are talking about drum set drums, each drum (snare, toms, kickdrum) all have the same basic components. There are the lugs, batter and resonate heads, two rims, the body(thats what I call it). Thats pretty much it.
The most basic drum kit is a 4-piece: snare drum, bass drum, mounted/rack tom, and a floor tom. Also, 14" hi-hats, a 16" crash cymbal, and a 20" ride are pretty standard. The sizes aren't that important, but these sizes are the most common. It's possible to get by without a floor tom or a ride cymbal if absolutely necessary, but the set up listed is pretty bare boned as it is.
A quint drum configuration consists of five different drums: four main toms, and a fifth drum in the middle. It is played like quads in a high school or Corps configuration. A tenor drum makes up each of the quints, but can also be played seperately in a concert or set setting (rack tom/floor tom).
It all depends on what you want to call a drum kit. So I guess it's anything with at least 2 percussion instruments of which at least 1 is a drum. Some drum kits (if we're talking about non live players) have big drum kits on their harddrives. I personally like each of my kits to contain 10 kicks 10 snares 10 hi hats 10 open hi hats Etc...
he was 4 when his mom bought him his first drum set

Exactly what you referred to them as: drums. In reality, however, you can't call all african drums by one name.....otherwise they would all be the exact same drum haha! Just to give you an idea, here are some of the different types of African Drums: Djembe Talking Drum Bata Bougarabou Ngoma Check out videos and recordings of the different types and you'll realize how unique each drum is!

There are no drums on guitar hero. If you want to play drums in a video game try buying rock band. You can play guitar, sing and play the drums. I don't know how much it costs. ---- There are drums in guitar hero world tour but i don't know how much they cost because my rock band drum set was compatible with it, so I used that.
Light the two torches with your torch. Press the first drum 4 times, the 2nd drum 2 times, the third drum 1 time, and the fourth drum 4 times. See related link for screenshots.

Different works call for different instruments. A more or less standard set-up would include 4-5 timpani, bass drum (with or without cymbal attached), crash cymbals, suspended cymbal, field drum, snare drum, marimba, vibraphone, xylophone, orchestra bells, and accessories. A trap set is generally on hand as well for commercial, pop, and jazz music.
