Julius Caesar
2 years
Julius Caesar is generally called a tragedy. Although it might as easily have been called a history.
Do you mean which play was first or which play was the best of all the Shakespeare plays which were performed at the Globe? If the latter, it is really just a matter of opinion. If the former, a lot of people think the first play to play at the Globe was Julius Caesar.

The audience
March 15th is known as "The Ides of March", or the day that Julius Caesar was killed in 44 B.C. In Shakespeare's play "Julius Caesar", Caesar is warned by a soothsayer to "beware the Ides of March". Caesar ignores the warning, and is later stabbed by conspirators (most famously, Brutus) at the Capitol.
Mark Antony delivers a persuasive speech at Caesar's funeral in Shakespeare's play "Julius Caesar." He skillfully uses rhetoric to sway the crowd, turning public opinion against the conspirators who assassinated Caesar. By repeatedly referring to Caesar's accomplishments and displaying his will, Antony evokes pity and anger, ultimately inciting the crowd to riot against the conspirators.
