World of Warcraft is supported officially for PCs (Windows Machines) and Macintoshs. Those are the only two operating systems that World of Warcraft officially supports. You can get it to work in Linux, but it is not officially supported. You will have to use a windows emulator to get it to work.

As of today (October 21, 2008), Blizzard Entertainment has not announced a second World of Warcraft. They have, however, promised to release expansion packs every 1-2 years.
