Here are some of the things you will have to do to make sure your rabbit will be happy in its enviorment.

1 make sure the rabbits cage is five times bigger than the rabbit it self

2 Make sure your rabbit can stand on its hind legs without bumping its head

3 Protect your rabbits feet from hard wire flooring

Make sure your rabbit has plenty of fresh veggies to eat. Here are some veggies that are "rabbit safe"

Broccoli Brussle sprouts Cauliflour Celery Chives Mint Cilantro Cucumber Dill Spinach Pea Pods Radish tops ect.

Treats

Bannana

Blueberries

Carrots

Apples

Cherries

Melons

Mango

Kiwi

Bell pepper

Papaya

Cranberries

Pineapple

Plums

Rasberries

Watermelon

What NOT to feed your rabbit

Bamboo

Beans

Beats

Bread

Breackfast cereals

Cookies

Chocolate

Corn

Onions

Oatmeal

Seeds

Wheat

So If you could do all of that then you are probably ready for a rabbit

You need to get hay. Preferably Timothy Hay (it's healthier for the bunny). Of course a cage, a large one so the bunny has a lot of space to move. If you get a cage too small, they won't be able to grow and they are likely to develop depression. You will need a water dispenser for the rabbit. It's better to get one that hangs upside down rather than a bowl. A bowl will be easier to contaminate. Rabbit food of course. And for their entertainment get the rabbit a few chewing blocks (flavored is more fun for them) or a salt wheel. They have fun with those.

First and most importantly, the cage must be big enough to allow your rabbit room to move. The cages sold by pet stores are generally too small and confining, and really are not adequate to house your rabbit for a long time. At the absolute minimum, there should be enough space for your rabbit to sit up on its hind legs and to stretch fully out.

You also need food dishes, a water source - either a drip bottle or water bowl - and somewhere for your rabbit to go to the bathroom. Some breeders use wire cages with pull-out trays underneath, so the droppings and urine just fall through the bottom; however the wire underfoot can be very tough on the rabbit's paws, causing sores and injury. Most pet rabbit owners prefer to train their rabbit to use a litter box instead, using compressed paper pellets, shredding, wood shavings, hay, etc.

Also, a bored bunny is a destructive bunny; there should be plenty of things for your rabbit to chew on safely and play with, such as cardboard tubes and boxes, untreated wicker baskets and balls, etc. And lots of hay to nibble throughout the day.
