Special precaution: history of gastric or duodenal ulcer & GI bleeding. Pregnancy & lactation. 4. Use with caution in patients with a history of gastric or duodenal ulcer and gastrointestinal bleeding since mucolytics may disrupt the gastric mucosal barrier.
