Viruses
Decomposers (fungi, bacteria, insect larva) are organisms that live off dead material left behind by ealier organisms. They are important because they reduce organic material to a simpler form usable by other life.
bacteria fungi human
Fungi will fall under a group of organisms that are known as microbes. The other organisms in this group include archea, bacteria, protists and viruses.
they break other organisms and thngs down into the soil
A biodeterioration is the decay of wood and other materials as a result of the action of bacteria, fungi or other organisms.
Bacteria are prokaryotes, fungi are eukaryotes, and insects are arthropods. All this means is that they are all different life forms from each other, in different levels: Life, Domain, Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order, Family, Genus, Species. And, even subspecies.
which of these organisms convert atmospheric nitrogen gas to a form that can be utilized by plants? a. bacteria b. protists c. consumers d. producers e. fungi
Decomposers :)
Other than the organisms that fall under the kingdoms of animals and plants, living organism fall under the categories of Fungi, Protists, Eubacteria (Monera), and Archaebacteria. Examples from these kingdoms are: Fungi: mold Protists: algae Eubacteria (Monera): E. Coli Archaebacteria: Halophiles
Besides animals and plants, other living organisms include:fungi (e.g. moulds, yeasts, mushrooms)bacteria (e.g. Escherichia coli, Salmonella, Streptococcus)protozoa (e.g. Plasmodium, Toxoplasmosis, Leishmania)algae (e.g. green, red, brown, yellow algae)
Decomposers, such as fungi and some bacteria, use waste products (feces) from other organisms and other the dead bodies of other organisms as food.
There are really 5 main groups; viruses, bacteria, fungi, protozoa (which includes the malaria parasite) and Helminthes (which includes parasites such as flatworms and roundworms). Moulds are classified as fungi.
