Is the ls command in Linux equivalent to ls -FC?

The 'ls' command is the same in Linux and Unix systems. System Administrators may set up an alias that has the -FC or other options but the command itself with no other parameters (ls) is just the 'ls' command.

What is the generic syntax for all UNIX command?

The generic syntax for commands is: command-name options-or-parameters The first non-blank field is always the command to be executed. Following that are either options (starts with a - or +), and any other non-blank field would be considered a parameter. An example: cc -O -o testing -n -s -x main1.c sub1.c sub2.c

Will upgrading windows remove virus?

NO. In the absence of anti-virus software that will remove a virus, upgrading will not do the job. Doing a clean install of the full Operating System (OS) after formatting your hard drive is the only solution. The key to a "clean install" is making sure that your method of formatting wiped the hard drive clean with zeros and ones. ----------- There are other solutions actually. I have not resorted to a format to eliminate a virus in a long time. Use any of a number of commercial anti-virus programs to eliminate the virus then run the SFC /scannow command to repair the system files. After everything is clean then you can uograde windows. To get to SFC /scannow you will need to go to start/ run - then type in SFC /scannow. Remember to put a space between SFC and the forward slash.

Why hybrid parameters are called hybrid?

Hybrid parameters are called so, because the parameters have different units. In Z- parameters, all the parameters have units of ohms and in Y- parameters, all parameters have Siemens as units. But in hybrid parameters, we have both ohms and Siemens as units. The other way it is called hybrid is, the independent variables are the input current and output voltage.

What are performance parameters of rectifier?

Rectifiers have two parameters of interest - maximum forward current - and maximum reverse voltage. A rectifier is generally chosen based on these two parameters. Other parameters include turn-on/turn-off time, forward voltage drop, and capacitance. The importance of these and other parameters depends on the circuit design requirements.

Do void methods have parameters?
