the structure of a tsunami is very simple.

it has three layers

a magnitudeal layer which is 3-4 meters deep

a itandual layer which is 6-7 meters deep and,

a vantiallian layer which is 10-12 meters deep.

When there is a huge displacement in the gravity of the sun and themoon. Or when a volcano erupts and rocks fall down the hill into the water which will cause a wave to form, over time as the wave rolls, it picks up water. Once it hits land it loses its gravitational pull, so therefore the only reason why it is started in because of gravity
