They are called Alaskans. Western Alaska is tribal land of the Yupik tribe; and the Inupiat tribe is in Northwest Alaska. Collectively, the two tribes refer to themselves as Eskimos, a term that is not used by tribes elsewhere in the the Artic. Wrong - they're called Aleuts
