We can understand how marine life works and how to help the marine life if they are in need. Something interesting is that it is known to marine biologists that sharks are immune to cancer. Knowing that, we can find a cure for cancer because of sharks. Sharks' cartilage is used to help treat cancer.

A marine biologist works mainly with animals, not as much with people. This can prevent the stress that working with people can bring. Having a less stressed life helps your overall health.
