I just finished reading the series and it is much better than the movies. The Silver Chair and the Voyage of the Dawn Treader are my favorite books in the series. Hopefully the Silver Chair movie in 2018 will be a good one. To answer the question, he thinks sensibly of himself and is very indulged on what his topic or subject is like helping Eustace and Jill do their quest. They find him near the marshes in the map of Narnia.
