It really depends on what you consider "positive." Gothic music, for the most part, is much darker than "normal" music you hear on the radio. It usually talks about death, gloom, and darkness, and everything of that nature in a Victorian/orchestral type of style. But if you are gothic that's what you're about huh? If those things are things you enjoy in your music, then there are your positives right there.
