Many people learn everything they need from the interview and have no further questions. If you have anything extra you would like to know about the company, the job, the working conditions, or the salary, then this is the time for you to ask them. You should try not to ask a question that has already been answered, however, as that makes them think you have not paid any attention. If you cannot think of a question, simply smile and say "No," then thank them for the interview. I agree with the previous post and would like to add a recommendation... write a list of questions ahead of time that you'd like answered about the job, and if they aren't answered during the interview, you should definitely ask them with ease. Inquiring about when a decision to fill the position will be made is an example.

Once an interview is concluded it is best not to ask any questions. The interviewer may in the course of the meeting ask if you have any questions and that is the time for them. Have two or three ready in just in case because interviews are designed to allow the human resource people the chance to get a gauge of your personality, intellect and problem solving skills.

Also remember that more people will likely be interviewed so answer directly and briefly, and thank the manager for the opportunity to present yourself before you leave.
