When experiencing acid rain, it is first important to discover the severity of the acid content in the rain you are experiencing. Sending a small mammal, a manservant, or a butler into the downpour for 2-3 minutes should suffice to give you a clear idea of the danger. There are four levels of acid rain that you should be able to detect in your subject.

# Level one - the lightest level of acid content should only cause a tingling in the scalp, some hair loss, reddening of the eyes, open wounds will burn with pain, and sensitive areas (behind the ears, the inner nostril, the inside of the elbow and the lips) will redden noticeably. # Level two - after two to three minutes of exposure, the entire body will become noticeably reddened, eyes will become unbearably painful, and the hair on the body will be completely burned away. # Level three - After less then a minute of exposure, small lesions will appear on the face and hands. Any water that gets into the eyes will instantly blind, and after several minutes, the skin will begin to sluff off in large steaming piles of gore. The eyes will be burnt from the skull, and the tips of the fingers should begin to show the underlying bones poking from the skin. # Level four - After a minute of exposure from the level four of acid rain, a subject will run red with blood, scream incoherantly while attempting to run on muscles that have already liquified, and fall into a puddle that once was their chest. After several minutes of exposure all that will be left is a steaming skeleton. To protect yourself, use sunscreen, umbrellas, ponchos, and above all, stay inside and consider moving far, far away.
