it where consumers live and producers in places like lake sea and other bodies of water

Greg Lake is an English musician who is most famously a member of the band King Crimson. He plays bass guitar, sings vocal and also producers songs and music.
Producers
Since producers are typically at the bottom of the food chain (unless its a venus fly trap, which produces and is a tier 2 consumer--i think) all other organisms depend on them. If all the phytoplankton in a lake dies, for example, the zooplankton will starve, the minnows that eat the zooplankton will starve, the largemouth bass that eat the minnows will starve, and eventually the giant muskellunge that eats bass will starve too, leaving the lake barren and empty. If the producers survive, everything survives, and vice versa, to put it simply.
producers
produce!
All plants are producers and the only producers in a desert.
