The only difference between the two cameras, is that you can preview and save or delete pictures, coming out with more of the "good" prints. The batteries are needed in both, and you must pay for professional development. The digital is more up to speed on a persons' needs but the old-fashioned one still rocks.

Basically both take pictures nonetheless. Both can be point and shoot. The difference is the memory and the technology. traditional cameras run on film while digital cameras on memory sticks or cards.
