You can not get a PhD is 'science', doing a PhD is a specialisation (science is too broad a topic). However, to help you with your question, if we take a UK university as an example, you would normally enter university at the age of 18/19 having taken your 'A' levels then do 3/4 years as an undergraduate. After this (if your undergraduate degree was good enough) you may do an MSc (1 year) or go straight to a PhD which should take another 3 years (at least). You will therefore be 25/26 when you get your PhD.

Most scientists do their best work by about age 25 or 26. The sooner you start in your studies doing research and publishing papers the better. One of these papers is likely to become your PhD thesis, if you go all the way.

There are seem to be many answers to this frequently asked question. DEpending on age this question varys. Being anybody from age 5- 25 sports are great. They keep you in good shape, allow you to interact with freinds, and allow you to participate in your town. The only con from playing sports is that it takes away from learning, and studying time. I am a year round sprts player at the high school age, and also maintain a 4.0 GPA in every class. I have been excepted into harvard, yale, duke, princetonl, dartmouth, and MIT Do you mean playing sports as a hobby or playing sports as a career?
Uh, YEAH! I'm not even sure if there IS a level 25... but if there is, it would be hard to get to. Only true pros at Hydro Hopper can get that far.

Pros - They don't require anyone to take of shoes, belts, wires, etc. They are quick, easy-to-use, and they can search the entire body to see if there are any concealed items (like explosives strapped to legs, as in the December-25 Christmas attack). They can quickly be analyzed, and security lines would become much shorter.Cons - Some people complain that they would invade privacy, as this is like walking naked. They worry that security agents could save these pictures and place these pictures on the internet or somewhere like porn.
