the pros are that the student understands whats right and whats wrong. he knows that that he should not do what was done wrong and that its unacceptable. The cons are that discipline should not be a public display. to me that just as a financial issue you wouldn't want anyone to know how much you make so you wouldn't want everyone to know that your child cant behave in the public without being punished.
