PROS: To keep in touch, in case of an emenery, to get away from a hectic scheudle, calling people if they don't have texting, and it takes less time the most phone calls. CONS: You can't put it down,it interferre with school,sports, and homework,it interrups your sleep, you have trouble sleeping because you don't want to put it down.

A disadvantage is that sometimes people use them to excuse themselves from the job or other responsabilities instead of calling to explain the reason and it is taken as unethical.
