Generally none in a mediocre restaurant chain. You must be able to communicate well with customers and work as a team with your coworkers, manage your time wisely by prioritizing and anticipating the needs of your customers. Most of this would be taught to you in training after being hired if you have no experience, but at the bare minimum you must be reasonably likable in first impressions. More upscale restaurants have more requirements, and age requirements differ by state and restaurant(particularly if they serve alcohol). Other than that, sadly, most restaurant managers tend to hire attractive people rather than checking their qualifications.
