Are there any stories or legends passed from generation to generation about a killer whale?

There is but one legend of a killer whale that meancestors have told me to bevaguelylegitand honest. One stormy night, in the spring of '34, a whale most sailors call "Groot Vissen" (which is dutch for "Big fish,") was making her way near the waters of Newfoundland and Labrador, for the pre-summer season. However, a band of Denmark sailors in a 1900 Catamaran were also sailing these waters for the Atlantic Cod yee sea beholds. These sailors, (my grandfather among them, ) had beenmysteriouslyblown off course by the northern winds of The 'Aurora Princessa,' anancientspirit of Labrador. My Grandfather, meurley an young lad and the cook's yee assistant, had heard a story of a kind whale who was friends with Aurora Princessa, who helped her tell the difference between good people and bad. My Grandfather, Jongen Weinig, had never belived such tall tales, until that night, where our story begins. When their ship was blown off course, it was sent into a rocky cove, where the entire crew would die grousome death had they not been miraculosly saved by Groot Vissen.Groot Vissen swam under their modest boat and pushed the Denmark crew into another cove only a half kilometer from their destination! Every crew member saw what Groot had done, even Grandpa Jongen! It was a great day, when they landed, but the crew did not demonstrate their gratitude toward Groot, theirsavior, in the expected way.At shore, the crew and townspeople were terribly hungry after their journey, so they captured the kin of Groot Vissen, and had an enormous feast. As Groot watched in horror as all she had ever loved had been taken away from her, a remarkably strong rage developed within her, as she took revenge on not only the sailing crew, but on every sailing ship on the western Atlantic.Groot Vissen caused enormous tidal waves, hurricanes of fury, and told Aurora Pricncessa not to trust and aid humans, but to destroy them!'Tis this tale passed on from each generation of my family and many other's that truly haunts the Western 'Lantic, and the souls of the sailors that have seen the rage of Groot Vissen themselves.
