Millions of people sentenced to concentrations camps already and you wonder if it was worth allowing that to happen in the rest of the world? Or allowing the Japanese to take over China, Korea, the entire Pacific and parts of the US? I'd say the balance is definite toward the fact that the war was worth fighting.
The war of 1812 was worth fighting for because America was already independent.

Most of the fighting from world war 1 happened in Europe in the countries of Belgium and France. The germans did most of the fighting and invasions.
Several reasons. Perhaps they couldn't supply an army or force to fight, perhaps they acted only as economic powers rather than military powers, or there is also the possibility that their governments felt they had nothing to gain and was not worth fighting.
