Beautiful Dreamer Brian Wilson and the Story of 'Smile' - 2004 TV is rated/received certificates of: USA:TV-14
The album was called "Smile". The songs were connected by an Americana theme and had 3 medleys. It was the next album written after "Pet Sounds" and was to be released right before The Beatles' "Sgt. Peppers" album and was thought by many to be just as influential, but was shelved in 1967 for various reasons. Brian Wilson (whom wrote the music) rerecorded the album with his band in 2004 and released it as "Brian Wilson Presents SMiLE". I highly recommend it.
Probably the most delayed album of all time is "Smile" by Brian Wilson (the Beach Boys)

Brian Wilson, the co-founder of the Beach Boys, began experiencing significant mental health issues in the mid-1960s, particularly around the time of the band's groundbreaking album "Pet Sounds" (1966) and the unfinished "Smile" project. His struggles with anxiety, depression, and substance abuse led to a severe mental breakdown in 1967, after which he withdrew from public life and became increasingly reclusive. While he eventually sought treatment and began to recover, these tumultuous years marked a profound decline in his mental health.
