Family life has changed in the UK tremendously. The reason for this is because most families like to do things in modern terms such as, 50 years ago there were mostly extended families, their was no television in most homes, no computers or any new technology that there is now and mainly women had no human rights for example, to work or vote. Also women could not divorce their partner without their permission, however now women have human rights and can divorce their partners. Another issue that has increasingly occurred is that young teenagers are getting pregnant very early at the age of 14 years old, 50 years ago teenagers were forced to do the housework and it was forbidden for them to get pregnant at such a young age.
