Both steel and aluminium rims are offered on Jeeps
Yes Jeep rims will fit an explorer, I have jeep rims on mine...
Not if they are made of aluminum.
Some will, depends on which Chevy and Jeep rims you're referring to

No because the Jeep Wranglers bolt pattern is 5" and your Cherokee is 4.5". However if you find YJ or TJ rims they will fit on a cherokee. First, YJ's and TJ's are Wranglers. YJ Wranglers were made from 1987-1995 and TJ Wranglers were made from 1997-2006. The rims from these will fit a Cherokee as the bolt patterns are the same. However the rims from a 2007 and newer JK Wranglers will not fit.
'84-'06 Wrangler rims have the same bolt pattern.
Wrangler, no.
Rims from some models of Jeep interchange with some other models. To answer the question, a specific Jeep model and year of manufacture is required for the Jeep in question, and for the rims you are looking at. Many rims manufacturers and retail sellers, some retail tire sellers, and all Jeep owner forums have charts that show the factory original rim specifications for each model and year.
