Anisocytosis normocytic normochromic means there is a variation in the size of red blood cells in a person. This can be caused by a folate or iron deficiency.
Risk factors for getting the disease or risk factors if you already have the disease?
Statistically: Dependent risk factors require other risk factors to reach statistical significance Independent risk factors are still statistically significant when adjusted for known risk factors
Hy everybody, ok it refers mainly to erythrocytes Anisocytosis: varying sizes Poikilocytosis: varyng shapes I hope it will be useful Best Regards Juan Camilo Baena Valencia Universidad de Caldas, Manizales
Anisocytosis itself isn't a disease, so you will have a hard time looking for a cure. It means that there are red cells that vary in size, and it is rarely caused by elevated levels of hemoglobin within red cells. Many conditions can result in anisocytosis, so to correct it you will need to get to the root of the problem.
