swelling and bruising ( very likely in most cases )
skin necrosis
poor healing of the scars
Of course, there is always a risk that the results of the surgery may not turn out as intended. The above risks maybe a contributory factor. Sometimes cosmetic surgery has to be repeated to get the results originally anticipated
