How successful is lasik eye surgery generally?

LASIK eye surgery is one of the most often performed and most successful procedures done in the world today. The most important thing is to go to a reputable Doctor Who will only perform the procedure if it is likely to be successful in your case. With this caveat, LASIK is almost always successful. The results with modern lasers is that virtually all patients achieve a minimum of 20/40 vision which is what most States in the USA require to drive without corrective lenses.
