WAY TOO many vessels to list. Depending on where you are located, will depend on your guidelines, except for International rules. For International Rules you can refer to a book that covers "The Convention on the International Regulations for preventing Collisions at Sea, 1972" which is referred to as "72 COLREGS". If you are in the US there is a slightly different set of rules of "Inland Waters".

International

General

Part A-General

Rule 1

Application

(a) These rules shall apply to all vessels upon the high seas and in all waters connected therewith navigable by seagoing vessels

Inland

(a) These Rules apply to all vessels upon inland waters of the United States, and to vessels of the United States on the Canadian waters of the Great Lakes to the extent that there is no conflict with Canadian law.
