Circle justice, of Native American origins, requires the offender to accept responsibility for what they've done wrong by pleading guilty to the crime they're accused of and accepting a sentence. Anyone who is willing to help the offender is part of the circle, or community, that decides the sentence and helps them complete it, including the victims, at times. Sentences usually involve some sort of community service and/or counseling or anger management.
