There is nothing you can do to prevent the results of tsunami. Levies, alarms, and cement walls are the only thing to be made.
any underground trenches are not affected by tsunamis, earthquakes etc.
To build a house that is relatively safe from a tsunami, it should be made out of wood, so as to be able to move, without just being destroyed. Of course, no house would be totally safe from a tsunami.
i dont know haha
Your not safe at all its just better to die because on land if theres a tsunami i recommend to run and get to a HIGH place
No. A basement is the last place you want to be during a tsunami. A tsunami is a massive surge of water. In a basement you are likely to drown. If a tsunami is coming you want to get as high up as possible. The best option, if you are in the danger zone, is to evacuate to higher ground inland. If you cannot then get to the top floor of you building or a nearby building, even on the roof if possible.
In very deep, open water, tsunamis are often undetected by ships that they pass beneath. That's the safe way to be in a boat during a tsunami. Near shore, where the water becomes much shallower, boats can be bad places to be, as the wave-front rears above the surface. If you had adequate warning that a tsunami was approaching, one way to stay safe would be to get in your (fast) boat and get out to deep water. Otherwise, run inland as fast as you can.
