Yes, these are sometimes prescribed together.
This is only MY personal experience, I AM NOT A DOCTOR:
The Klonipin is for anxiety disorders of varying levels of magnitude. The Adderall for ADD, ADHD, depression, and/or to negate the drowsiness of Klonipin.
If you just started taking Klonipin, it might be overwhelmingly sedative. After a week or so, I found my body adjusted. For others, taking Klonipin muddies their thinking, and the Adderall helps them to maintain focus/alert, but gives them uncontrollable shakes/shivers - but the Klonipin should counteract that.
It's a balancing act. Psych meds. are kinda' like spaghetti. You go through a lot before you find the one(s) that stick to the wall. In between the rest of the roller coaster ride it's not pretty. Then again, if you really are suffering from any number of mental health issues, going on the roller-coaster of Big Pharma is the only way you might find relief -- and a path back to a "normal" life.
Note - you cannot take either forever...they both have long-term trials on them and it's only 50% good news. There are exceptions, of course.
I recommend Googling "Crazy Meds" - it is one of THE most exhaustive wikis on medications and the individuals taking them....LOTS of great reference to read before/during/after taking the meds...
I take them both and tolerate them very well but I only take 1mg at bedtime. I was told not to take it within 2-3 hrs of taking Adderall but I have for anxiety and nothing happened. However, I wouldn't do it since I was told by Dr and Pharm not to. My problem right now is trying to figure out how much Adderall I actually need? 30mg XR was to strong, 15mg IR makes me fall asleep within an hr. Tried 2 15 IR and it still put me to sleep. Hope that helped some.
Some side effects of Klonopin and Adderall are headaches, nausea, vomiting, and difficulty sleeping.
Adderal is straight speed. Mixing that with anything for sleep is not going to work well.
If prescribed by a physician or other provider with knowledge of the patients health status and complete medication history, then yes these drugs may be used in the same patient.
the klonopin and adderall may cancel each other out (sedation + stimulation) avoid combining adderall and celexa as this may lead to seretonin syndrome which can be deadly.
It is not safe to take NyQuil while also taking Adderall, Klonopin, Lexapro, and Percocet, as it can cause seizures and other serious side effects.

Klonopin is also widely known as Clonazepam which is the active ingredient in it.Klonopin (Clonazepam) is grouped under the drug class called Benzodiazepines.Klonopin affects chemicals in the brain, so it is prescribed for the treatment of seizure disorders and anxiety.Since it changes certain chemistry of the brain, it may also cause the brain become unbalanced resulting in many side effects. The side effects are generally benign in short-term use, but sudden withdrawal after long-term use of it can cause severe symptoms, and sometimes they can be even fatal. The side effects of this drug are very extensive. 60 pills of 30 mg adderall and 60 pills of klonopin 1 mg
Hello. No this is unfortunately one of the side effects of Adderall. When you have been taking the medication regularaly for 7-14 days, you will notice the side effects decreasing.
Yes you can. But unless you are not aware of the immediate side effects of adderall I would study up on the drug.
While it is not illegal to take an old prescription of Klonopin, the side effects could produce more damage than good.
That depends on what you mean by "better." Concerta has less side effects and is generally safer, but Adderall is way more intense.
One of the possible side effects of Adderall (an amphetamine) is anxiety. This should be taken into account by your physician when prescribing other drugs.
Umm, I've never experienced major sexual side effects, or any. I'd suggest just to get off of it if the side effects bother you that much. When I was on it, it altered my psyche. I mostly reverted back to how I was before hand, but there's still some permanent damage I guess.
