Tylenol actually has many many side effects at low doses - including drowsiness, paradoxical insomnia, itching, and many others. Due to aggressive marketing and lawsuits, you will not find an actual list in any of the normal places (drugs.com, wikipedia, rxlist.com, webmd). The owners of these sites have agreed not to post the stats on common side effects. Go see. McNeil-PPC, the makers of tylenol, attempt to spread the myth that tylenol has no side effects. In response to questions of side effects, the makers (and the sites listed) often just state "Side effects: Tylenol is generally well tolerated at therapeutic doses." But this is true of MANY drugs, they will still list common side effects and often their frequency. Only Tylenol is attempting to operate under the myth (believed even by many doctors) that it has no side effects.
