There should be no side effects. You should feel the same either way.
Six side effects of cytotoxic drugs (taken from the BNF 54): # Oral Mucositis # Hyperuricaemia # Nausea/Vomitting # Bone-marrow Supression # Alopecia # Tumour lysis syndrome There you go :)
The success rate of bone marrow transplants can vary depending on a number of factors, including the type of transplant, the patient's diagnosis and medical history, and the experience of the medical center where the transplant is being performed. In general, the success rate of bone marrow transplants is highest when the transplant is performed between closely matched siblings, as the chance of rejection is lower. In India, the success rate of bone marrow transplants can also depend on a number of factors, but overall, it is considered to be relatively high. According to a study published in the Journal of Cancer Research and Therapeutics in 2014, the overall survival rate for patients who underwent bone marrow transplants in India was around 80%. This is similar to the survival rates reported in other countries. However, as with any medical procedure, there is always a risk of complications and side effects, and the success rate of bone marrow transplants can vary depending on the
The purpose of chemotherapy is to destroy cells. That includes bone marrow cells.
Of course the side effects are going vary depending on the type of treatment a person will decide to use it varies from your basic rash to a major loss in the density of your bone marrow. I have had eczema all my life and I would recommend both tryumcytelone (not at all how it is spelled) and Eucerine creams. The first can only be used for two weeks at a time, but Eucerine is wonderful because the more you use it the more it helps, and their are no side effects.
Vidaza is used to treat bone marrow diseases, cancers and other blood disorders such as 3 types of refractory anemia. Vidaza is prescribed by doctors as long as the side effects don't affect the patient too much.
Myelosuppression is a decrease in the ability of bone marrow to produce blood cells in the human body. This is often a side effect of a person getting chemotherapy.
According to the bonemarrow.org, "Marrow donation is done under general or regional anesthesia so the donor experiences no pain during the collection procedure.Discomfort and side effects vary from person to person. Most marrow donors experience some side effects after donation. Common side effects of marrow donation include:Lower back painFatigueStiffness when walkingBleeding at the collection siteSome donors said the experience was more painful than they expected; others said it was less painful. Some donors describe the pain as similar to achy hip bones or falling on their buttocks. Others say it feels more like a strained muscle in the back. The ache may last a few days to several weeks."
There's a little bit of swelling in the bone marrow in the part of the leg bone that's on the side of the hip. Reactive marrow edema does not provide a diagnosis, but is just an observation on MRI. Your health care provider will take that into consideration when trying to diagnose the cause of your hip pain, putting together this information with the results of your history and physical.
The age limit is not meant to discriminate. The NMDP requires volunteer bone marrow donors to be between the ages of 18 and 60, which is standard medical practice. An individual must be 18 to donate because marrow donation is a surgical procedure and the person undergoing the procedure must legally be able to give informed consent. A guardian or parent cannot sign a release or give consent because unrelated bone marrow donation is a voluntary procedure and is not beneficial or life-saving to the donor. The NMDP must use chronological age to determine eligibility to protest the safety of the donor and provide the best possible treatment for the patient. With age comes a small increase in the risk of side effects from anesthesia
Lecithin is in all living beings. So there are no real side effects unless they are taken over the limit of 3omg per day. This can cause side effects such as diarrhea. Cider vinegar can cause side effects due to its acidity, side effects can be a decrease in bone mineral density and hypokalemia. Kelp can cause reactions such as nausea and skin rashes.
