Fersolate cm is an oral iron supplement that helps red blood cells carry oxygen through the body. These tablets are used to treat and prevent iron deficiency. Iron supplements should be taken an hour or two after a meal and taken with water or juice.

Common side effects are: diarrhea, constipation, dark stools, nausea, upset stomach, heartburn and sometimes tooth stains.

Side effect symptoms of overdose include: bloody diarrhea, sharp abdominal pains, sever nausea and vomiting.
