Can Lovaza cause coughing?
I have been on Lovaza for almost two years. About that same time I noticed that my hair was thinning and then falling out. I always had a lot of hair and wasn't concerned that it wasn't growing back until I could see my scalp. I googled the drug and its side effects for hair loss and it does have it listed. I have stopped taking this drug and will see if my hair grows back.
Yes, Lovaza contains vitamin E per the lovaza website. However, I do not know how much Vitamin E it contains.
There are no known drug interactions between Lovaza and the birth control pill.

Generic versions of Lovaza, known as omega-3-acid ethyl esters, are already available from various manufacturers. Therefore, Lovaza is effectively available in generic form since the expiration of its patent.
