Sexual orientation cannot be determined by stereotypical signs or behaviors. It is important to remember that each person's identity is unique and should not be assumed based on appearances or mannerisms. It is best to ask someone directly about their sexual orientation rather than making assumptions.
Any gay person must eventually come to terms with his or her own sexuality. "Knowing" it and "admitting it to yourself" are two different things, and it takes some people longer to reconcile the two. Most people who are gay are aware of their being different from an early age, and generally by their 20s most gay people "come out." Some people wait longer for various reasons (fear of rejection, violence, religious issues, etc.).
You may be able to tell if someone's gay from the way they walk, talk (perhaps with a lisp and/or higher voice pitch), their fashion sense (which is excellent BTW), or just by asking them.
A recent study has shown that many gay men have longer, slimmer fingers than straight men, that they more often have anti-clockwise hair whorls and are left handed.
This doesn't apply to everyone though, so you can't completely rely on it.
Trust your gaydar.
Seriously, there is no way of telling with most people unless they want you to know. They are all different sizes, shapes and act in different ways. Even though it really isn't anyone's business, you can always ask. They don't have to tell you. Unless you are looking for a sexual partner, it really shouldn't matter. What a person does in bed and who they do it with has little or nothing to do with how they are going to act with you.
Some guys/girls flaunt it and some don't so it would be very hard at times to tell if a person is gay. Some guys that are gay come from all walks of life and can be muscular, rough and tough looking, while some gay men can be very effeminate. Women that are gay can be considered beautiful, feminine, but still can be gay and some women will act like a guy (butch). Does it really matter!
If you are in a relationship and are wondering then the person MAY be bisexual, then if this is a concern to you ask, but be warned, if the person isn't gay or bisexual this remark could end your relationship.
Ask them. Apart from that, there is no sure way to find out somebody's sexuality. Some gay people do 'act gay,' but so do some straight people have effeminate behavior and many gay people don't 'act gay,' just as most straight people don't.
You can't be sure and only the individual knows if he is gay. If a person decides to tell you they are gay, then you will know for sure. Otherwise, it's none of your business.
Gays are right next to you on the bus and others in the doctors office or even the doctor. Don't be afraid. They are just like you and me, they just love someone just like them which come to think of it we do that, too.
If he's not effeminate or flamboyant, red flags would be unusually well groomed or dressed regularly, not into male things especially those where he might get dirty like working on cars, never doing any manual labor or going too far the other way, dressing too macho, too much jewelry, too much chest hair showing-these are only signs though and there are exceptions of course.
The same way you tell if a girl likes you.
you can't. But if he's lying about it, it means you should back off, because it's a deeply personal issue.
There is no way to tell for sure if a guy is gay. There are stereotypical signs that people consider tell tale signs that a guy is gay, but they're not always true. The only way to know for sure is to ask them. They may or may not be comfortable telling people if they're gay.
There are not really many signs to tell you a man is gay. Some gay men do act feminine which is a clear sign.
Guy: Hi!You: i'm gay.
You can tell that some guy is gay by asking him his best friends, and by observing his behavior about other men.
Sometimes you really can't tell. I mean he can be a nice guy that likes to look good. If your not sure get to know him and look for signs that shows he is.
Ask him
If you are gay, just be completely honest with him. I am a straight guy, but I have a friend who is gay, so I do know this. Just tell him that you understand that he is straight, but that you have feelings for him and you wanted him to know because you felt that you needed to tell him.
Girls can tell or know if a guy is gay by observing his behavior in a group of men.
Tell him a joke.
It's basically the same process as a boy and a girl, there is no difference
because i have a friend and hes gay last time he went to my house and he star to touh my penis and he tell me that he was in love wiht me and i got scared and ran out of my house.....so thats who i can tell a gay guy like's me
Ask him
