one is old, one is in the middle, and one is young
There are fundamental differences and similarities between a solar versus human life cycle. As in humans, stars are born and they will die. Stars produce energy. Both humans and suns produce energy, but by different means. Humans produce our energy through chemical respiration, a combustion reaction. Stars however use nuclear fusion. Another chief difference is that human life can be measured at most in decades or a century while stars can live for billions of years, and even longer after their "deaths" in their new forms as dwarfs and black holes.
the difference is that the milky way is a big group of stars and much more and the big dipper is just a plain old constellation
Because astronomers are human, and because humans have an insatiable mania for classifying things to make it easier to see similarities and differences between them. We humans are excellent at seeing patterns, and seeing how the patterns relate to other patterns. Even when there are no real patterns; for example, the arrangement of stars in the sky into "constellations:" shaped like heroes, gods and animals. When it comes to individual stars, it makes some sense to classify them based on size, temperature, and color; that makes it easy to describe a star in relationship to other stars that are at least vaguely similar. So a "Type G" star is similar in size and brilliance to our Sun.
That means matter between stars - mainly dust and gas.
Gamma Andromedae, "Almach" is a spectacular quadruple star in Andromeda. Two of the stars can be seen with a small telescope, colored red and blue.
They are stars.
The differentces are that that cal. is a very worm place and utah well i dont know and cal. has movie stars! there you go :)
The differences in spectrum are mainly due to: * Differences in temperature between the stars * Differences in chemical composition * Differences in relative movement (redshift / blueshift, due to the Doppler effect)
The son is a mid size star so it is similar to many, but it is definitely not the biggest.
The more stars a hotel has, the better it is.
"Interstellar" means "between the stars". "Interstellar differences" is not a term commonly used in astronomy.
What information are you wanting? They are the same in regards to them both being 30 minute tv shows. They both have ensemble casts. Both shows use guest stars. Differences... The Simpsons characters are yellow. Family Guy's characters are flesh colored.
The sun is a star. Its different to us than other stars because it is the closest to our planet.
No. Yellow stars are hotter than red stars.See related question.
calanders witch were made of stone.
Similarities: Stars and planets can appear the same - like pinpoints of light in the night sky. Differences: Planets are rock or gas, and do not glow by themselves but reflect the light of stars which illuminate them. Stars fuse hydrogen into helium and give off enormous amounts of energy, some in the visible range. Stars are MUCH bigger than planets.
Stars do have different colours. If you look carefully, you will see that there are differences between the colours of stars. Some are very different in colour to others, but you will only notice if you look at them carefully.
