There are absolutely no similarities between paganism and Islam. In fact, Islam is the most opposite religion to paganism - because Islam is the only religion which demands worship of the unseen, Unique God alone.
No worship of any natural phenomena, or nature, or spirits is allowed in Islam - ever. We don't even pray to prophets or saints.
Islam is the purest monotheism there is.
No similarity at all. Paganism is believing in more than one God while Islam is believing in one ans only one God with partner, no son, no companion, no associate, and no equivalence.
