I don't understand the question really but here's a generic answer. The followers of each and every religion are people who have decided to refer to as their spiritual authority some priest, pope, bishop, minister, rabbi, guru, iman or some sacred writings or book or whatever. It makes it easy. The person doesn't have to think. Someone else has done the thinking for them about life, death, the purpose of life, how to get into the good graces of whoever or whatever runs this place we call Earth. But the simple fact is none of these people or sacred books or ritual have any real authority. It is each individual who has the authority to decide who they will listen to or not in these matter.
