Stop doing the drug, go out places with friends (that don't do drugs) or family. Set goals to stop, such as going to college or join some sort of athletic team to get the drug off there mind, its a little hard but it is possible if not there is always rehab.
There are a lot of other things to take in to consideration, there are a lot of users out there who use drugs to mask hidden pain and would need counselling. Others have got hooked through experimental use and recreation use, and for some prescription drugs. It's not as easy as saying don't take them. A drug user needs the drug to function properly, just getting through day to day things is incredibly hard. The best way would be to get referred by your Doctor to a drug support worker, to see what options such as rehab are available.
