The most important is being able to impart the knowledge you have gained through study to students in a way that understandable, and know how to impart knowledge and be able to break down information into easily understood pieces of information, while imparting the knowledge in a subtle and interesting way. There are people who know lots of things, but because they do not have the gift of teaching, they cannot impart this knowledge to students despite their knowledge and intellect. University Professors are a classic example of this, they can unknowingly make it very difficult for people to learn and understand information which they are trying to share in lectures, because alot of them are lousy teachers, great intellect, but no so good at imparting the information in an efficient way during lectures.
